Well this week has been very exciting! Amy had her baby... Gunner Luke! He is so precious and I can't get enough of him. He is such a cuddle bug, and I can't wait for the next time I get to hold him. I'm so lucky we live right down the street so I can hold him pretty much whenever I want. Rowan is REALLY excited about the baby. If the baby is anywhere near he has to be kissing him. It's really cute. He loves a baby! They whole way home from the hospital he kept saying "baby!" the ENTIRE way home! I loved it! Amy is just amazing! She was induced at 6 in the morning and he was born at 12:32. I got to see him right after he was born and she looked AMAZING! Like she had totally not just had a baby.
Anyway, Rowan is getting bigger! He is so funny, he really couldn't be more like his daddy. He is so into his routine it's funny! Every morning we get up he knows we change diaper and then he stands at the top of the step and screams "a b!" (banana). Then we go down and he trys to push his chair where he can see the TV while I cut up a banana and toast a waffle, and I also put his flinstone vitamin on his plate. Then I put him in his chair and turn on his toons. This is the part that is so Brad, if there is anything different or new about his food it really throws him off.
I thought I would make a list of new favorite things....
1) Favorite place to play: At Papa's barn
2) Favorite toy: Papa's tractor or his lawn mower
3) Favorite meal: for breakfast- gravy and biscuit and for lunch- Mac and Cheese
4) Favorite show: Hard to say we've been enjoying summer that TV hasn't been on but he loves Micky Mouse Club House
5) Favorite Person: Kurt hands down... loves that kid! Gunner is a close second now that he is here.
6) Favorite game: He loves to play, mess up the basket of just folded laundry or put my sippy cup up where the water comes out of the fridge. But as far as real games go... hide and seek is pretty fun!
7) Favorite this to do in the house: Read his books or throw every toy down the stairs... I have to pick them up anyway... so I let him! Just not the really big toys. The other morning I saw him rolling my office chair towards the stairs!
7) Favorite place to pitch a fit: Target! He sees Target and just starts crying... think I go to much?
8) Favorite part of his day: When daddy comes home! So many smiles!
